I have extensive insurance industry knowledge, where I have worked for many years. I started with a company in which I was licensed in thirty-two (32) states, so I can easily identify what is right for you, your family, and your business.

I grew up in Pascagoula, MS and attended Resurrection Catholic School (RCS), during which time I earned my Eagle Scout with the Scouts of America in Pascagoula, before attending the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science my junior and senior years of High School. After I graduated, I went on to attend Mississippi State University with the prestigious Gates Millennium Scholarship. I received my B.A. in Philosophy with a minor in Computer Science in 2018. I moved to Chicago, IL where I worked for a State Farm agent before deciding to open up my own agency and return home to the Gulf Coast where I can make a difference and serve my community that helped shape me into the person I am today.

During my time at Mississippi State University, I met my now wife Lauren and our 17-year-old Basset Hound Daisy. We married during my lunch break in my Agent Internship on October 13th, 2020, at a park in Ocean Springs.

I believe we should never stop learning and growing and as such I am currently pursuing two financial industry designations, the Chartered Financial Consultant and Chartered Life Underwriter.

We are licensed to serve Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, and Tennessee, especially the coastal counties of Jackson, Harrison, and Hancock, MS.

Kara truly embodies the notion that like a good neighbor, our office is there. Kara has a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi and as such, is adept at keeping our office running smoothly! Lauren P. Romero is the Customer Relations Representative here at Steven L. Romero State Farm. Lauren started her career in insurance after she realized she could do what she loves most, and that’s helping people. Lauren loves to combine her love of teaching and learning with helping and educating our customers with any and all of their policy needs. Lauren is a lover of all things creative and has a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Mississippi University for Women as well as a B.A. in English from Mississippi State University with a minor in Sociology. Prior to her career in insurance, she worked as Fiction Editor for MUW’s in-house publication Ponder Review. Give our office a call and ask Lauren to handle any claims and current policy needs!

Felicia P. Grace is the Home & Auto authority here at Steven L. Romero State Farm. She decided to enter the insurance industry in 2019 when her youngest daughter, Emma, was born because she realized the value and importance of having great insurance. Her favorite thing about being in this career is having the ability to listen to our customers and create a truly needs-based holistic approach to crafting insurance plans and helping people actualize their goals. Felicia has a B.A in Communications with an emphasis in Marketing and handles all of our social media accounts! She is a Jackson County native having grown up in Pascagoula, Mississippi and currently resides in Ocean Springs, Mississippi with her husband Cody, and their two daughters, Tabitha and Emma.
